Travel approval on one screen, not in an e-mail chain
You set up who approves. Approvers decide from the panel or from the link in the e-mail; a delegate takes over during leave; every decision is recorded with its reason.
Set up your approvals
You choose the approver
Line manager, department manager, company admin or a named person; one step or several.
Sequential or parallel
Steps run in order, everyone approves at once, or the first approver is enough.
When is approval needed?
Every request, only requests above the policy threshold, or no approval; a separate chain per policy class.
Four-eyes principle
By default a manager cannot approve their own request; you can change this in company settings.
Delegation
The approver enters their leave dates and a delegate; pending requests move to the delegate for that period.
Nothing gets forgotten
Employees can send the approver a reminder; a request left unanswered is escalated after the time you set.
The approver's screen
The request closest to its deadline comes first. Approve, ask for changes or reject with a reason; approve several at once or a whole multi-traveller plan with one decision; every step and your past decisions are recorded.
Decide from e-mail
A single-use link in the notification e-mail lets the approver approve or reject without signing in. The link expires and is personal.
Frequently asked questions
What happens to requests while the approver is on leave?
They go to the delegate the approver named; delegation is limited to the leave dates entered.
Does the approver have to sign in to the panel?
No. They can also decide from the link in the notification e-mail.
Can an employee update a request sent back for changes?
Yes. They edit and resubmit it, and always see the approver's note and any rejection reason.
