GDPR Information
As data controller under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), Kolay Seyahat Teknoloji Ltd. Şti. ("Kolay Seyahat") processes the data of people who book flights and hotels on, or use, kolayseyahat.com as described below. For trips booked through your company's corporate account, your company is the data controller and the notice shown in the dashboard applies.
Data we process
- Identity: name, surname, date of birth, gender, national ID or passport details (when the flight or stay requires them).
- Contact: email, phone.
- Travel: flight and hotel booking details, preferences (such as departure airport).
- Transactions: payment records and invoice details. Card numbers are processed by the payment institution and not stored by us.
- Usage: records needed for site security and operation; cookies (Privacy Policy).
Purposes and legal bases
- Making the booking, issuing the ticket, changes, cancellations and refunds (KVKK art. 5/2-c, performance of contract).
- Invoicing, accounting and legal reporting (art. 5/2-ç, legal obligation).
- Customer support, fraud prevention and site security (art. 5/2-f, legitimate interest).
- Marketing messages only with your explicit consent; you can withdraw consent at any time.
Transfers
- Airlines, hotels and booking providers, some located abroad, to complete your booking. Transfers abroad follow KVKK art. 9: apart from transfers necessary to perform the service, transfers rely on your optional explicit consent, given through a separate, unticked box on the payment and sign-up screens. Not giving consent does not prevent your booking; in that case only the transfers necessary to perform the service are made. You can withdraw consent at any time from your account settings, by writing to destek@kolayseyahat.com or through the KVKK request form.
- A licensed payment institution for payment.
- Hosting, email and communication providers (as data processors).
- Authorised public bodies when legally required.
Retention
Booking and invoice records are kept for the period required by law (10 years in Türkiye), then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Your rights (KVKK art. 11)
You may ask whether your data is processed, request information, learn the purpose and whether it is used accordingly, know the recipients, request correction, deletion or destruction and notification of these to recipients, object to an adverse result of automated analysis, and claim compensation.
How to apply
Use the KVKK request form or write to destek@kolayseyahat.com. Requests are answered free of charge within 30 days. The Turkish version prevails.
