    Trabzon · TZXCamlihemsin

We meet at Trabzon Airport and visit Hagia Sophia first, then the Atatürk Pavilion. After lunch we see the parts of Sumela Monastery open to visitors. Taking the coast road, we enter the Fırtına Valley and reach the hotel in Çamlıhemşin in the evening.

Today we walk on Sal plateau and stop for rice pudding at a shepherd's house; on clear days the Kaçkar peaks rise above the clouds. We walk the half-hour trail from Sal to Pokut for photos and a forest walk. On the way back we stop at Yolkıyı or Ortan village, home to old Hemşin mansions.
