Day-by-day itinerary

Fair day and New Year by the fire
We meet at Rize Airport and, after a local breakfast, continue to Çamlıhemşin. A forest walk among old mansions is followed in the afternoon by the Çamlıhemşin Fair with local producers and cultural performances. Once at the hotel in Ayder, the snow games begin with sledges and Laz boards. In the evening we celebrate the New Year early with live music, horon and a countdown around the hotel's bonfire.

Gunt plateau and the fair concerts
After breakfast an hour's drive takes us to Gunt plateau for a walk across the snow-covered meadows and photo stops. Late in the afternoon we head down to the fairground to join the concerts and the horon circle. Back in Ayder there is tea by the stove and free time.

Çat Valley, Zilkale and departure
After a late breakfast we leave Ayder. Following the Fırtına Valley through the winter landscape, we stop in the Çat Valley and visit Zilkale castle. After photo stops we drive to Rize Airport, where the trip ends.
