Tirana in 2 days: Skanderbeg Square, Bunk'Art and Dajti

Tirana is a compact, walkable capital, so the plan builds two days in two layers. Day one covers the centre: Skanderbeg Square, redesigned in 2017, the frescoed Et'hem Bey Mosque and the Clock Tower, then recent history with Bunk'Art 2 in its underground bunker, Tirana Castle built by the Toptani family in the 17th century, the 1988 Pyramid and the Grand Park in the late afternoon. Day two starts at the Pazari i Ri bazaar and the House of Leaves, the regime-era listening centre, then heads east to Mount Dajti for the cable car and Bunk'Art 1 right beside it. The Dajti cable car doesn't run on Tuesdays, so keep day two off a Tuesday. Hours and fees link to the official source with the date we last checked them.
